[header] How to chase somebody on foot [title] Assess the situation. [step] Is the person armed, or is it somebody you would not be able to handle? If so, you had better not chase them. [title] Try to predict where the person is going.

endings

  1. [step] From your location, track them around an area, you can also read news bulletins, weather reports, etc. You can also just note down where they are going.
  2. [step] If someone is running in the direction you want to go, but they're not on your track, you can still chase them, but if the person walks a few steps right or left, they're too late. [substeps] Try running up to a person as they cross the street.
  3. [step] If you know, you can go there instead of chasing them. [title] Determine whether it's worth it.
  4. [step] Knowing where you are ahead of time can help you steer the potential attacker back where they are not. If they are on a flight to the airport or you see them leave a parking lot when you do not, crouch down and jump a little bit.
