[header] How to become a moderator in kongregate [title] Act rule-abidingly. [step] Moderators are more likely to notice a person who is always mature and courteous, and has sense of humor in the chat. [title] Don't act as a mini-mod.

endings

  1. [step] If you are going to be " don't swear, don't do that " etc. All the time, you are less likely to become a mod.
  2. [step] If you try this too often, the moderator will get angry with you and start dragging you down to the limit, being surprised and annoyed, or even won't listen to you. [title] Show up the next time you see a new inactive user, or the server malfunctions because you're walking past a new one.
  3. [step] While it might seem like a good idea to be sociable in kongregate, the norms are strict in kongregate. Only interrupt parties afterwards, and only push back.
  4. [step] It is best to make him aware of the situation so that he can decide to treat you as a friend rather than a random digital " buddy ". [substeps] Eventually, he might realize that you are a real mod.
